Polish lyiric-coloratura soprano Ewa Majcherczyk, since her debut as Adina in G. Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore with Opera Wroclawska in 2009 and Hanna in S. Moniuszko’s The Haunted Manor at the Silesian Opera in Bytom she has performed in Polish National Opera, Teatro del Giglio in Lucca, Teatro Verdi in Pisa, Teatro Goldoni in Livorno, Teatro Comunale in Ravenna, Grand Theatre in Poznan, Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo, Teatro Communale di Mantova, Teatro Coccia in Novara, Anhaltishes Theater Dessau, Teatro Politeama in Palermo with Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana, Opera in Stettin, Grand Theatre in Lodz,  Teatro Luigi Pirandello in Agrigento, Opera Baltycka, Opera Podlaska.

Her operatic repertoire includes primarily main and title roles as: Cunegounde (Bernstein-Candide), Lucia (Donizetti-Lucia di Lammermoor), Violetta Valery (Verdi-La Traviata), Micaela (Bizet-Carmen), Edwige (Offenbach-Robinson Crusoe), La Primadonna (Donizetti-Viva La Mamma), Gilda (Verdi-Rigoletto), Musetta (Puccini-La Bohemé), Adina (Donizetti-L'elisir d'amore), Rosina (Rossini-Il Barbiere di Siviglia), Adele (Strauss-Die FLedermaus), Zerlina (Mozart-Don Giovanni), First Lady and Papagena (Mozart-Die Zauberflöte), the main  roles in polish opera works like: Goplana (żeleński-Goplana), Hanna (Moniuszko-Haunted Manor), Zuzia (Moniuszko-Verbum Nobile), Zofia (Moniuszko-Halka), and roles in modern, demanding repertoire as: Anne Frank (Frid-The Diary of Anne Frank), Boleslaw (Penderecki-Ubu Rex). 
Miss Majcherczyk has sung under conductors such as Andriy Yurkevych, Bassem Akiki, Francesco Bottigliero, Ruben Silva, Elio Boncompagni, Jari Hämäläinen, Federico Maria Sardelli, Francesco Bonnin, Tadeusz Kozłowski, Pawel Kotla, Grzegorz Berniak, Jurek Dybal, Ewa Michnik, Tadeusz Serafin, Andrzej Knap, Warcislaw Kunc, Jerzy Wolosiuk, Piotr Staniszewski, Wojciech Semerau-Siemianowski.

She collaborated with, among others directors such as: Barrie Kosky, Michał Znaniecki, Ran Arthur Brown, Lech Majewski, Bruno Berger-Gorski, Saverio Marconi, Marco Gandini, Simone Alaimo, Maria Sartova, Beata Redo-Dobber, Martin Otava, Wiesław Ochman and Waldemar Zawodziński, and she has shared stage with prominent singers such as C. Colombara, Abdrazakov, M. Walewska, A. Teliga, W. Ochman, C. Lepore, Iwona Sobotka, M. Puente.

On the concert and recital stage, she has performed in Germany, Italy, Belgium, The Netherlands, Czech, Denmark, Spain, Lithuania, Slovakia.

 Ewa Majcherczyk is a graduate of the K. Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice and the Royal Academy of Music in Copenhagen under the tutelage of Professor Tonny Landy and pianist Ulrich Staerk. She was a two-time scholarship holder of L.T.L. Opera Studio, and a laureate of various competitions, including the First Prize at III Simone Alaimo International Vocal Competition Il Bel Canto nella Valle dei Templi in Agrigento. She was the finalist of the VIII International Moniuszko Vocal Competition in Warsaw.


She continued to study privately under the tutelage of Teresa Żylis-Gara, Jolanta Żmurko-Kurzak and Simone Alaimo.
