As part of the Dutch National Opera Talent, Kroon made her debut in 2015 at the Dutch National Opera (DNO) as Un voix de femme en coulisse and as rehearsal cover for Mère Jeanne in Dialogues des Carmélites in the regie of Robert Carsen and under the baton of Stéphane Denève. 
This season, 2016/17, she returned to the DNO as Un Muscio (Manon Lescaut in a regie of Andrea Breth and under the baton of Alexander Joel) and as Stimme aus der Höhe (Parsifal under the baton of Marc Albrecht and in the regie of Pierre Audi). 

Dutch mezzo soprano Eva Kroon received her bachelor degree at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and her master at the Dutch National Opera Academy (DNOA). She participated in masterclasses given by Leontina Vaduva, Ed Spanjaard, Jean-Phillipe Lafont, Patrick Fournillier, Marco Canepa,Ira Siff, Dennis O’Neill, Gabriele Fontana, Meinard Kraak, Mark Tucker, Graciela Araya, Hanna Schwarz, Alexander Oliver, Jard van Nes en Dame Kiri Te Kanawa. Her current vocal coach is Abbie Furmansky.

Other roles Kroon recently performed are Dido (Purcell's Dido and Aeneas) and Orfeo (Gluck) both productions with The Fat Lady Operagroep with artistic director Tamir Chasson.
Other operatic appearances  include: La Baronessa Aspasia in La pietra del paragone (Rossini), Sesto (La clemenza di Tito, Mozart), Nancy (Albert Herring, Britten), Dorabella (Così fan tutte, Mozart), Zweite Dame (Die Zauberflöte, Mozart), Orphée (Orphée et Eurydice, Gluck),  Soeur Mathilde (Dialogue des Carmélites, Poulenc) and Carmen (Carmen, Bizet)

Among Opera also concertrepertoire, Lieder and Oratorium has her interest. She performed with the Brabants Orkest under the baton of O. Tausk and with the Gelders Orkest under the baton of J. Schets. Among other works she made her appearance in Matthäus-Passion (J.S. Bach), the Krönungsmesse, Requiem and Spatzenmesse (W.A. Mozart), the Stabat Mater (Rossini, Dvořák and Dohnanyi), Petite Messe Solennelle (Rossini) and under the baton of Jac van Steen she performed Pulcinella (Stravinsky).
