The musical education of the young Italian tenor Enrico Casari started at the Conservatory of Verona, his home town, where he studied singing with Maria Sokolinska Noto. Later on he continued his studies with Augusto Vicentini, Ivo Vinco and Sherman Lowe. He also attended the Faculty of Musicology at the University of Pavia. Then Enrico trained at Flanders Opera Studio in Ghent and at Opera Studio of Opéra National du Rhin in Strasbourg.
First Prize at International Singing Competition Pelizzoni 2006 in Parma and finalist at Competition Città di Bologna 2007, he made his debut with the laboratory “Teatro musicale del ‘700 Enzo Dara” (Bastien und Bastienne at Teatro Bibiena-Mantova).
2008/09: Le nozze di Figaro at La Monnaie-Bruxelles, Die Zauberflöte and Ariadne auf Naxos at Opéra Royal de Wallonie of Liege.
He sang in Fedora in the Deutsche Grammophon’s recording next to Placido Domingo. Petite Messe Solennelle and La Sonnambula at Vlaamse Opera.
2009/10:Louise (Charpentier), Aladino e la lampada magica (Rota), Ariadne auf Naxos, Macbeth and Věc Makropulos in Strasbourg.
2010/11:Die Zauberflöte at Opéra de Rouen and Palais des Beaux-Arts of Bruxelles. Messa di Gloria (Puccini) in Strasbourg.
2012: Kát’a Kabanová, Der Rosenkavalier in Strasbourg; Macbeth at Opéra de Monte-Carlo and Pagliacci in Liege.
2013: Věc Makropulos at Teatro la Fenice-Venice and Requiem (Verdi) tour in Belgium.
2013/14:Lucia di Lammermoor at Opéra de Lille, Requiem (Verdi) in Antwerp, Die Zauberflöte at Teatro Comunale-Bolzano, La Scala di seta at Théâtre des Champs-Elysées-Paris and La Gazzetta at Opera St Moritz and Opera Basel.
2015: Pagliacci at Opéra de Monte-Carlo next to Leo Nucci and Marcelo Alvarez.
2016: Lucia di Lammermoor at Opéra de Rouen, Limonges,Reims; Věc Makropulos in Strasbourg, Manon Lescaut (Auber) next to Sumi Jo and Requiem (Mozart) in Liege, and Pagliacci at Opéra de Metz.
Current season: Kat'a Kabanova at Teatro Regio-Torino, La Gazzetta at Israeli Opera-Tel Aviv, Pagliacci in Strasbourg.
Future engagements include: Adriana Lecouvreur (Cilea) and I Puritani (Bellini) at Opéra de Monte-Carlo, Le Nozze di Figaro at Opéra Royal de Wallonie.
