Emanuela Sala was born in Palermo on September 5, 1990.

She graduated High School “S. Cannizzaro”  in Palermo.

At the age of  9 she took part in the Youth Chorus of the Teatro Massimo in Palermo participating in several Operas such as “Werther”, “La Bohème”, “Tosca”, “Jeanne d’Arc au bucher”,  

“Ellis Island”, “L’arca di Noè”, and in many provincial and regional concerts in the presence of famous artists.

In October 2003, on behalf of an Italian association called “Coro del Terzo Millennio” she performed at the Columbus Day celebration in New York and at the concert  at the U.S. Department of State in Washington, in the presence of the United States Secretary of State Mr. Colin Powell.

In 2006 she sang the title role in the opera “Romeo e Giulietta – Amore Eterno” at the Palasport in Palermo.

She moved to Germany for 1 year , continuing to improve her vocal technique trained by the soprano singer Romana Noack at the Deutsch Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf.

In October 2015 she attended the First Improvement Course of the  LTL Opera Studio at the Teatro Giglio of Lucca, in the role of Hanna Glavary.

 From 2016 she has participated in Opera Masterclasses held by the famous soprano Fiorenza Cedolins, with final concerts  at the Chiesa della Graziella in Naples, Salone Barezzi in Busseto(Parma), Casa di riposo per musicisti Giuseppe Verdi in Milan, Reial Cercle artistic de Barcelona.

In August 2016, she won the second  prize and the Special Prize for Best Voice of Italian  Bel canto at the First International Opera Competition Casta Diva at the Teatro Ristori in Verona.

In February 2017, she won the third prize at the Internatonal Opera Competition Giacinto Prandelli, chaired by Eva Marton.

In April 2017 she received a special prize by the Audience with a scholarship at  the International Opera Competition Ferruccio Tagliavini of Deutschlandsberg in Austria.

In May 2017 she performed at the season closing concert of  Verona Lirica “Fiorenza Cedolins e suoi allievi” at the Teatro Filarmonico of Verona.
