Bio


Daniel Zinn, born in 1992 in Jerusalem, Israel.
Started playing at the age 9 in the Jerusalem conservatory.
Daniel is the recipient of America Israel Cultural Foundation Scholarship as well as the Varone foundation scholarship and a full scholarship program for outstanding chamber music groups at the Jerusalem Academy of music.
Daniel Graduated from the string program for outstanding young musicians of the Jerusalem Music Center, with which he took part in chamber music lessons and playing in the Young Israeli Philharmonic from 2009 to 2013. He was invited back in the following years to teach in the course string quartetts and piano trios to the younger students.
Daniel has played solo with the Jerusalem Conservatory Orchestra as well as the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, and recently has managed to produce a full symphony orchestra that incorporated professional, college students, and gifted highschool pupils, all playing out of love for music.
Daniel has performed many times on national radio as soloist and chamber musician.
In the recent years he has played in festivals all over the world including Young euro classics in Berlin, Music in the Valley in Israel and the Mozarteum Summer Academy in Salzburg. Daniel participated in master classes with artists like Pierre Amoyal, Maurizio Fuchs, Donald Wallerstein, Vadim Gluzman, Aaron Rosand and Miriam Fried.
Daniel is currently residing in New York, doing his MM Music in Mannes College of Music.
