Bio

Costanza Gallo began her studies with the famous soprano Mirella Freni. She then began specializing in a french repertoire studying with the coloratura soprano Elizabeth Vidal.

She has been singing contemporary music and sacred music since she was very young and had performed the main role of "Brundibar" of H. Karasa in Venice, Cremona, Reggio Emilia and Prague when she was 14 and in "The Trial" based in Kafka novel by A. Colla when she was just 15.

She had her professional debut as Zerlina, followed by the Second Lady of Magic Flute in a production of the theater Carlo Felice in Genova under the direction of Daniele Abbado. In the same theater she had the leading role (Dorothy) in the wizard of Oz by Bruno Coli.

She works for the C.A.L.M- Centre d'Art Lyrique de la Méditerranée as a Soloist taking part in many concerts in the most important theater of the French Riviera.

She has been "Nella" and "Suor Gievovieffa" in the Trittico of Puccini, "Annina" in the production of Traviata in Pescara Opera.

In her repertoire she also has Zarzuelas and Argentinian music because she is half Italian and half Argentinian.

She currently speaks 4 languages (Italian, Spanish, English and French) and after obtaining her degree in Music, she has also obtained a Masters degree in Anthropology.
