   She was born in Palermo from a family of musicians, and after completing her classical studies, Claudia Munda participated to the symphonic seasons of the Sicilian Symphonic Orchestra between 1995 and 1997 with the Gibilaro Academy guided by M° Henry Farge and then begun her voice studies at the prestigious “Accademia Filarmonica di Bologna” guided by tenor Sergio Bertocchi and Madam Paola Molinari. Now she studies with the Bariton M^Carmelo Corrado Caruso

   In 2006 attended the “Accademia Harmonica di Modena” too, studying with M°Patrizia Ciofi, M°Alessandro Corbelli, M°Sonia Ganassi and M°Alessandro Patalini.

   She made her debut in 2005 as Elisetta in “Il Matrimonio Segreto” of D.Cimarosa, and won prizes in the international singing competitions :

      In 2006 debutted the role of Berta in “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” of G.Rossini and performed extensively in Italy for “Gli Amici de Regio”, Turin, The week of sacred music in Monreale, the F.O.S.S. in Palermo and Tao Arte Festival in Taormina. She also took part in an Easter tounèe in Germany performing Mozart’s masterpieces Coronation Mass, Esultate Jubilate and Regina coeli kv108. In 2009 she won a television competition in the program “METTIAMOCI ALL’OPERA”, a show for the important italian channel RAI UNO . Recently she sung Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater at Bellini Theatre in Catania.

   She debutted as Giannetta in “Elisir d’amore” of G.Donizetti, Prima ancella in L.Cherubini’s “Medea” , Lucy in “The Telephone” of G.Menotti, and won the Salvatore Cicero competition, which made her debutting the Stabat Mater of Luigi Boccherini and Susanna in “Le Nozze di Figaro”in the 49th and 50th concert season at the Politeama theatre in Palermo, and also sang Valencienne in “La Vedova Allegra” and Princess Mi in “Il Paese del sorriso” by F.Lèhar , Annina in “La Traviata” by G.Verdi. She recently sang Lauretta and Nella in Puccini’s “Gianni Schicchi” at Massimo Theatre in Palermo.

   Since 2008 works as a chorus artist in Massimo Theatre in Palermo and Bellini Theatre in Catania.
