Bio

Christina Maria Heuel , born 1988 in Germany, is a young soprano from Germany. In 2015, she graduated with her Master of Music /Voice Performance from Folkwang University of Arts Essen with Prof. Rachel Robins. During her studies she performed Oberto (Alcina/Händel), Valencienne (Lustige Witwe/Lehár), Papagena (Zauberflöte /Mozart), Blanche (Dialogues des Carmélites/Poulenc), Suor Genovieffa (Suor Angelica/Puccini), Gretel (Hänsel und Gretel /Humperdinck) and Governess (Turn of the Screw/Britten). Since 2015, she was engaged for productions at Musiktheater Im Revier Gelsenkirchen and Theater Hagen. In summer 2015 she sang Lady Harriet in "Martha" from F.v.Flotow at the music festival "Wernigeröder Schlossfestspiele" in Wernigerode, Germany. In summer 2017, Christina Maria Heuel will be part of the operetta-festival "Schönebecker Operettensommer". She will perform "Bärbele" in "Schwarzwaldmädel" from Leon Jessel.
