Cassandra Lemoine is a soprano from Edmonton, Canada who made her Canadian debut in 2013 as Cis in Britten’s Albert Herring with Pacific Opera Victoria. Cassandra moved to Denmark in 2013 to take her masters degree and in 2017 she made her debut at The Royal Danish Opera as Papagena in The Magic Flute. Recent performed roles including Lucia in Britten’s The Rape of Lucretia (Copenhagen Opera Festival), Dalinda in Handel’s Ariodante (Royal Danish Opera Academy), Pamina Die Zauberflöte, both the Princess and the Fire in Ravel’s L'enfant et les Sortilèges (The Royal Danish Academy of Music), The Vixen The Cunning Little Vixen (Janáček), Madame Herz Der Schauspieldirektor (Mozart), Widow The Merry Widow (Lehar), Hebe Les Indes Galantes (Rameau), Kuchtik Rusalka, and Belinda Dido and Aeneas (Purcell). 

Highlights of her recent concert repertoire include J.S. Bach’s Cantatas 51 ´Jauchtzet Gott in Allen Landen´, 199 ‘Mein Herze Schwimmt im Blut’, 202 ‘Wedding Cantata’, 211 ‘Coffee Cantata’, 248 ‘Christmas Oratorio’, Handel’s Messiah, Carl Nielsen’s Fynsk Forår and 3rd Symphony. In 2016, Cassandra was invited to the Næstved Early Music Festival to perform Charpentier's Te Deum, Litanie de la Vierge and Stabat Mater which were all led by Jordi Savall. 

Cassandra has sung in several world premieres of newly written works. She was the first soprano of a dramatic 6-voiced chamber opera, Stabat Mater, by American composer Frederick Bayani Mabalot which premiered at the Pulsar New Music Festival at The Royal Danish Academy of Music in 2015. In the same year, Cassandra was invited to the Vadstena Academy in Sweden to create the role of The Poet in Japanese composer Moto Osada's opera Son of Heaven. It was in this production that led to Cassandra being featured on the cover of Sweden's leading opera magazine Tidskriften Opera.
