On the concert platform he has appeared as a principal soloist in works such as Handel’s Messiah, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle, Requiems of Mozart, Verdi and Stanford, Bach’s St John Passion and Puccini’s Messa di Gloria.

Byron is artistic director of BJ Music Events LTD, a non-for-profit initiative to bring opera as an art form to the people of Birmingham and their communities.
