Bio


Ben Woodward is currently on music staff at Staatsoper Hannover.

He is a founder and Artistic Director of Fulham Opera in London with whom he has led the Ring, Falstaff, Simon Boccanegra, Salome, Elektra, Arabella, Peter Grimes and Dialogues des Carmélites.

He was born in Staffordshire, and educated at Chetham's School of Music, was Organ Scholar at Trinity College, Cambridge and was then on the opera course at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.
