Bio

Becca Marriott graduated from Trinity Laban in 2014, where she held the Morag Noble Scholarship, and was awarded the Roy Pleasance Prize.  She also participated in coveted mentor schemes with the ENO and international artist, Matthew Rose.  She currently studies with Joy Mammen. A member of Opera Prelude since 2014 she was awarded the Singers’ Friends’ Fund in 2015, and recently won the annual Della Jones Song Prize. Roles include: Tosca in OperaUpClose’s 2013 Off West End production, Nitocris from Handel’s Belshazzar for Trinity Opera, under Nicholas Kraemer, and Donna Elvira for Moonlittle Theatre.  Most recently, she sung the title role in Puccini’s Manon Lescaut for Brent Opera. This summer, Becca will be joining Grange Park opera for her second Summer Season, and playing the part of Old Sally in their production of Oliver!  In September she will be singing Mimi in a new adaptation of La Boheme for The King’s Head, for which she is also writing the libretto.
