Bio

Italian mezzosoprano Beatrice Fanetti (born August 13th, 1990) achieved her Masters in Opera Singing with distinction from Siena Conservatory in 2016 under the supervision of Laura Polverelli.

In 2014-15 she attended a semester at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles and participated in various Masterclasses (e.g. with Renato Bruson and with William Matteuzzi at Accademia Musicale Chigiana di Siena, with Suzanne Kelling in Ammerland and others). She won the 2014 Orselli-Cianti Scolarship for the best opera singing undergraduate at Siena Conservatory.
Her past operatic performances include the roles of Maria in “Lauda per il Signore” by Respighi, Nerina in “Don Chisciotte” by Martini, and Dorabella in the I Act of “Così fan tutte” by Mozart.
Italian mother tongue, Beatrice is fluent in English and French, and can communicate in Spanish and German.
