Bartosz Szulc is a graduate of the Music Academy in Lodz, where he studied voice with Piotr Micinski. He gained a diploma with distinction in 2012. He sang: Mozart' Die Zauberflöte, Haendel’s Giulio Cesare, Weber’s Abu Hassan, Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Czubaty’s The Blue Castle and Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi. He won a special award in the I category in the interschool Performance Art Song Competition in Kutno, the second prize in the VII Vocal Competition of  L Rozycki in Gliwice and won third prize and the winner of a special prize for the best bass voice in 2nd International Singing Competition Giulio Perotti in Ueckermünde. In 2015 he took part in The Festival Sommer Oper Bamberg party where he sang Sarastro. He has studied at vocal courses given by Rudolf Piernay, Robert Holzer, Udo Reinemann, Jard van Nes and Siergiei Leiferkus and has worked with many conductors (e.g. Paul Esswood, Ivan Monighetti, Andrzej Straszyński, Jakub Chrenowicz). In 2014 he started his vocal PhD studies.
