Bio

Born in Solingen, November 24, 1975, began his musical studies very young, he graduated in trumpet at the Conservatory "Vincenzo Bellini" of Palermo. He studied orchestral conducting with Maestro Piero Bellugi, with Maestro Daniel Oren, with Maestro Giuseppe Lanzetta and, actually with Maestro Ennio Nicotra in Bicocca University in Milan.   He has participated in numerous musical and refresher training with the Masters Cecere Pasquale (tr.) (Teatro Massimo di Palermo), Gianni Mazzoni (Trb.) (Rai Turin), Basil Sanfilippo (Trb.) (Santa Cecilia), Antonio Ruggeri (tr.) (Santa Cecilia), Jonathan Williams (Hrn.) (Maggio Musicale Fiorentino).   He participated in Operalaboratorio, project under the Opera House, in collaboration with Ars Nova, Teatro Massimo of Palermo, Palermo Municipality, Michigan Opera Theatre, Detroit University as an archivist for the year 1999 and archivist and assistant art director in 2000 supports a stage for apprentices Operalaboratorio in the archives of the Teatro Massimo for his qualification.   He Participated in events "CULTURAL OLIMPIAD" organized as part of the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City in Utah (USA) as an instrumentalist of trumpet orchestra "UTAH YOUTH SYMPHONY" conducted by Maestro Barbara Scowcroft (Utah Symphony Orchestra) in Jackson (Wioming) Driggs (Idaho), Teatro Abravenal Hall (Salt Lake City), Church of St. Luke Association (Ars Nova) in Salt Lake City, Provo (Utah). Since September 2007 he followed Maestro Daniel Oren as a student for Conducting by:   "Un Ballo in Maschera" by Verdi, the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino (September 2007); "The Merry Widow" by Franz Lehar, the Opera House in Rome (December 2007); "La Sonnambula" Vincenzo Bellini at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa (April 2008).   Since December 2010 he was a student of Maestro Piero Bellugi until he passed. He was my mentor.   In his short activity of conductor, had the honor to lead in numerous soloists in concerts: Andrea Dell'Ira (first trumpet of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino); Eitan Bezalel (principal trombone of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino); Fabiano Fiorenzani (principal trombone of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino); Emanuele Antoniucci (Second Trumpet of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino); Andrea D'Amico (Trombone depending on the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino); Patrizia Scivoletto (Mezzo-soprano of the Choir of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino); Andrea Lucchi (Trumpet Orchestra di Santa Cecilia in Rome); Calogero Palermo (Principal Clarinet at the Opera House in Rome and Clarinet Soloist of the Orchestra of Radio de France); Konstantin Becker (First Horn of the Teatro La Fenice in Venice); Salvatore Passalacqua (Bass Clarinet of the Teatro La Fenice in Venice); Piero Mangano (Second Horn of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan); Alessio Vicario (Principal Clarinet of the Teatro Massimo of Palermo); Claudio Sardisco (Flute of the Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana); Stefania Tedesco (Oboe of the Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana); Antonino Bascì (Second Horn Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana); Biagio Enzo Giuffrida (Second Clarinet of the Band of the State Police); Giuseppe Saggio (Second Clarinet to the band of the State Police).
