Antonella Di Giulio, pianist, regularly performed throughout Europe for many associations and festivals as a soloist and in different chamber music ensembles. The German Newspaper Rheinische Post describes her music as performed ”“… Mit ihrer kompetente Virtuosität, ihrer breit gespannten Expressivität wie ihrer enormen Klangsensibilität…“ (with competent virtuosity, broad expressivity as well as huge sound sensibility). She studied at the “Conservatorio Tito Schipa” in Lecce  and then she successfully graduated at “Conservatorio Santa Cecilia” in Rome . After completing her degree, she specialized in piano performance with Professor Luigi Mostacci and Carla Giudici with an European Union’s fellowship.  She actively participated in many Master Classes with a huge number of famous pianists (Oxana Yablonskaya, Paul Badura Skoda, L. Hoffmann, Marcello Abbado, Aquiles Delle Vigne, Silvana Libardo,Roberto Cappello, Takaschy Yamazaky, Elza Kolodin, Sergio Fiorentino, Klaus Kauffmann, Walter Blankenheim, and Eugene Mougilevsky).  In Germany, she had lessons with pianists Sontraud Speidel and Michael Rische. Since early childhood, Antonella won many national and international competitions. Her music brought her in very different venues (e.g. RAI – Italian television-  International Festival Anzio – Petrassi, Messiaen- Kawai Europa – Krefeld, RWN – Krefeld, A.Gi.Mus., Roma, “Circolo sottoufficiali” Bologna, Marigliano, Taranto, Lecce, Campobasso, Klavierwochen Waldkraiburg, Ass. “Il Coretto” Bari, Monopoli, Festival Ostra, Ass. Nino Rota Brindisi, Weyden, Bayreuth, Plauen, Geldern, Mitrovica, Dortmund, Sonsbeck, Windhagen, Kalkar, Bremen, Firenze, Lipsia etc….). She has a particular interest in Italian composers. She is recording a CD for a project,”Land”, in collaboration with the Italian composer Biagio Putignano. Antonela is also a dedicate teacher. She holds Italian teaching  certificates for preschool and elementary school. Her training included pedagogy and music-management as well as seminars for group lessons at the piano with a particular interest in early childhood. Antonella was music teacher trainer for the “Bertelmann’s Foundation” for the Project “Kita macht Musik”, music course for Kindergarten-teachers (“How Can I Teach Music Every Day in Kindergarten?”). She has written a music exercise book for preschool children, a music reading book, and “Sequenze libere”, special piano pieces for very special piano lessons; additionally she writes for different magazines (Conservatori.com,Artinsieme, It@lzine).   She attended the “Suzuki Teacher Training” until the ESA Diplom for piano with Professor Lola Tavor in Milan. She took part to a project in Gouda (Holland) to introduce Europe to the Suzuki Italian experience with group classes (Children’s Music Lab with Marco Messina). From this experience, she has founded a special program “Italiano in musica” for children between 2/3 and 5 years old with parents, where the musical lesson is a chance to learn a foreign language, combining the Suzuki approach with “Children’s Music Lab” and with the pedagogical experiences in Italy and  abroad. She teaches Suzuki piano, early childhood music education, and general music education, as well as music in different “Suzuki” projects in preschools and primary schools. Many of her pupils are piano competition’s winner. She holds the position of Artistic Director of numerous workshops (Suzuki Workshops and for piano professional), concert series, festivals and concerts for the youngest pianists including KlavierWorkshop “Mitrovica” – with children from Kosovo, “Kuscheltier-Konzerte” – Suzuki children playing for other children, and “Piano pianissimo”- International meeting for Suzuki young pianists, Contemporary for Kids. She is founder and drector of “Opus Zero”, a non profit the nurtures the love for arts, offering education through the arts to everyone and opportunities to young performers and artists.
