Since September 2015 Anna Brull is member of the Ensemble in the Oper Graz (Austria). During the season 15/16 she will has been seen as Rosina (Il Barbiere di Siviglia), Laura (Luisa Miller) and Mercedes (Carmen). The young Mezzo made her debut in Graz as a member of the Operstudio on September 2013. During the last two seasons she has been seen as the 2. Dame (Zauberflöte), Lucienne (Die Tote Stadt) and Javotte (Manon).Anna Brull has also been seen as a guest artist in Gut Immling Opernfestival and Belcanto Opera Festival "Rossini in Wildbad". Mozart repertoire brought her to Stadttheater Hof (Cherubino), Komische Oper Berlin (Zerlina) and Opéra Théâtre de Saint-Étienne, where she made her Annio debut in La Clemenza di Tito.Born in Barcelona in 1987, Anna Brull started musical studies at a very young age by learning the piano.In 2006 she joined ESMUC (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya – Barcelona) where she obtained a degree in vocal Pedagogy and Didactics.In 2010 she attended the Master spécialisé de chant in the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles continuing her voice training with soprano Margarida Natividade and pianist Xavier Ribera.In 2012 she graduated with honors in the Conservatorio Tito Schipa in Lecce, receiving a Diploma Academico di II Livello, scuola Musica Vocale da Camera with Professor Amelia Felle, with whom she also improved Italian operatic repertoire.In December 2011 she won the second prize in the International Competition of Opera singing Valerio Gentile in Fasano (Italy). In June 2012 she received an Honorable Mention for best Mozart interpretation in the Premio Nazionale delle Arti of Italian Conservatoires.She made her operatic debut in Lecce (Italy), playing Cherubino in “Le Nozze di Figaro” with the Orchestra Tito Schipa, conducted by Marcello Panni.She has actively participated in master classes with Brigitte Fassbaender, Christa Ludwig, Mariella Devia, Paolo Coni, Melanie Diener and Amelia Felle.Her repertoire includes oratory, chamber music and opera, focusing in mezzo-soprano roles in travesti from the Baroque to the early nineteenth century.
