A rich, warm timbre, dramatic intensity and stupendous coloratura - Anna Bineta's voice is praised for its versatility as is her authentic and intense expression both in singing and acting. Having made her debut as Flosshilde in Wagner's Rheingold as early as 2008 - only just in her second year of studies - Anna Bineta has since won the most prestigious scholarships in Germany: She is alumna of the German Academic Foundation, the major foundation supporting future leaders in all fields of science and arts, and has received scholarships of Jütting-Stiftung Stendal, Hamel-Stiftung Hannover and of the Richard-Wagner-Verband. After having been a member of the opera studio of the Staatsoper Hannover, she has finished her studies in 2015 and is now working as a freelance opera and concert singer, thus adding to her expertise in the Baroque repertoire and historically informed performance, experience with the romantic Italian Fach: In 2015 she made her debut with the Mezzosoprano part in Verdi's Requiem and continues to build up this repertoire. Roles she performed on stage include Hansel, Ottavia, Orfeo (Gluck), Armide (Lully) and of course major and minor roles of Handel's operas. Her concert repertoire concentrates on the Baroque oratorio but includes forgotten Renaissance and Baroque composers as well as contemporary composers. Anna Bineta is very much dedicated to the lied: Her very broad repertoire includes Scandinavian, Russian, French, Spanish and English songs.
