Anežka has deepened her passion for music since her age of
three, when she started to sing in a children choir. After one year of playing
the violin and three years of playing the piano as well as the recorder, her
parents helped Anežka to find what musical instrument would best fit her
character. Since she was eight years old, her life was filled with playing the
flute and music in general.
After eight years of studying at the Secondary School of
Music in Prague, Anežka continued to perfect her specialization in the flute
for another three years at Jaroslav Ježek Jazzy Conservatorium in Prague, and
then at Prague Conservatorium, where she graduated with DiS. Absolutorium under
the tutelage of Mr. Lukas Herink in the year 2011.
In 2014, Anežka went to Suzhou University in China, where she
spent a year performing, participating in teaching, and studying under Mrs.
Clara Novakova’s guidance. After that year, she decided to go abroad again in
order to expand her experience and knowledge of the musical world overseas,
this time in Australia where she had been till June 2017.
She achieved second place in competition of Czech
Conservatories in Ostrava, the Czech Republic, and an honourable mention in
competition of woodwinds in Wroclaw, Poland, in 2009. Anežka also composed
music that was played during a couple of castle and chateau exhibitions in the
Czech Republic. Two of her biggest performances were playing an opening concert
at the Prague Spring Festival under Mr. Jiri Belohlavek, and participating in a
rock concert together with Michael Pavlicek. In addition to this, Anežka has
taken part in many public performances at concerts, openings and other cultural
events, solo and in chamber ensembles and orchestras, since she was eleven
years old. Anežka has over ten years’ work experience in teaching the flute
(the last 15 months in Sydney) and over twenty years of playing and performing experience.
