Lirico Spinto Soprano

The18-year-old soprano Andjela Spaic is conquering bigger and bigger stages in and out of Montenegro.

She started musical education early in childhood as perspective pianist, but made her final decision of changing department in school year 2017/18 in the class of Marina Cuca Franovic in Comperhensive art school Vasa Pavic (Podgorica, Montenegro). Since then, Andjela has been awarded with 3 international-competition First awards and one national competition First award.

This young soprano has worked with many renowned operatic singers and teachers, including Daniela Uccello ( Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi Milano ), Lilia Ilieva ( Bulgarian National Academy Plovdiv ), Milica Stojadinovic ( Academy of Arts Novi Sad ),  Violeta Pancetovic Radakovic ( Belgrade Faculty of Music ), Martin Vacha ( Universitat für kunst und Musik darstellande Wien), and many others. Andjela has taken part in Operosa Opera Festival 2018, as part of choir in Bizet's Carmen, as well as numerous concerts in Montenegrin National Theatre, KIC Budo Tomovic, Maribor National Theatre, and many other stages.

As Italian-repertoire admirer, she sees herself in roles of Puccini, Verdi, Rossini and Donizetti, and her voice being somehow mix of dramatic and lyric, dark and light, allowing all kinds of transformations within just one aria, but filling the whole room with its warm pastel tones and roundness. With upper range going up to g3, and ability to sing extremly fast passages, there is obvious chance that we are talking about young coloratura, but tessitura, colour, timbre and richness & quality of the tone make it clear that in few years Andjela will be steady Belcanto repertoir performer.
