Alice Rossi was born in Varese (Italy) in 1992. At a young age she learned the rudiments of harmony, rhythm, and singing from her parents, two experienced jazz musicians. 

She made her operatic debut in 2013 playing the role of Lucia in Benjamin Britten's opera The Rape of Lucretia with musical director Arturo Tamayo at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Lugano (CH). In 2014 she performed Songs By Myself and Nenia: the Death of Orpheus by Harrison Birtwistle during the festival Sir Herry’s songs dedicated to the 80th birthday of the composer in Hannover (DE), in collaboration with Das Neue Ensable under the direction of Stefan Asbury; in 2017 She has performed Avanture and Nouvelle Avanture by G. Ligeti with Stehan Mayer at NDR in Hannover. She has made many world premieres of contmporary compositions, such as Il Giardino della Vita by J. M. Sanches Verdù in the role fo the Angel at Palazzo dei Congressi in Lugano and Dear Dusty the Moth by H. Birtwistle at Kölner Philarmonie (May 2017). She interpreted the role of Regina in the oratorio S. Giovanni Nepomuceno by A. Caldara, in collaboration with La Divina Armonia directed by Lorenzo Ghielmi at the Salzburger Bachgeselleschaft (AT) and interpreted Euridice in Orfeo by C. Monteverdi at the Teatro Comunale C. Abbado of Ferrara (IT).

Her collaborations with ensembles include performances with I Musici di S. Pelagia, with the contemporary vocal ensemble Vox Altera of Massimiliano Pascucci, with Studium Ensemble of medieval music
directed by Barbara Zanichelli, and with Choir of RSI directed by Diego Fasolis.
