Aimery Lefèvre was born in France. He studied piano, organ and singing before joining in 2000 the Centre de Musique Baroque de Versailles. He was then admitted at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Lyon (class of Brian Parsons) and right after graduating he joined the Atelier Lyrique of the Opéra national de Paris.

In 2005, although he was still a student, he debuted on stage in Lyon with the role of Aeneas (Dido and Aeneas). He performed then at the Opéra de Tours, the Opéra de Rennes, the MC93 in Bobigny and at the Amphithéâtre of the Opéra Bastille (The Rape of Lucretia, Cosi fan tutte, Il matrimonio segreto, L'enfant et les sortilèges).

In 2009 he made his debut at the Opéra national de Paris, taking part in two productions: Il Barbiere di Siviglia (Fiorello) and Platée (Momus). He subsequently performed at the Grand Théâtre de Luxembourg (Dancaire in Carmen), at the Glyndebourne Festival (Hippolyte und Aricie), at the Opéra de Lille and at the Opéra de Dijon (L'incoronazione di Poppea), at the Opéra de Rouen (Dandini in La Cenerentola) and at the Teatro Municipal de Santiago de Chile (Frédéric in Lakmé). He his a regular guest at the Théâtre du Capitole where he has appeared in Les Indes Galantes, La Belle Hélène, Un ballo in maschera (Silvano), Castor et Pollux (Pollux) as well as in the world premiere of Philippe Hurel's Les Pigeons d'argile (Toni).

In 2015/16 he made his debut at the Royal Opera House in London (Chabrier's L'Etoile). Meanwhile he has performed in L'italiana in Algeri (Haly), Béatrice et Bénédict (Claudio) and La Clemenza di Tito (Publio) at the Théâtre national du Capitole as well as in Gianni Schicchi (Marco) at the Opéra de Montpellier.

Aimery Lefèvre is currently preparing the roles of Guglielmo (Cosi fan tutte), Oreste (Iphigéníe en Tauride), Malatesta (Don Pasquale), Valentin (Faust) and Billy Budd.

In concert he has collaborated throughout Europe with ensembles such as the Orchestre de l’Opéra de Toulon, the Orchestre national du Capitole, Les Folies françoises, la Simphonie du Marais, Le Concert d'Astrée, the Ensemble Matheus, Le Concert Spirituel, Les Talens Lyriques and Le Cercle de l'Harmonie. He has sung recitals at the Athénée Théâtre Louis-Jouvet, at the Auditorium du Musée du Louvre and at the Villa Médicis in Rom. He has also been invited by the Teatro alla Scala and the Teatro la Fenice de Venise to take part in young singers’ recitals.

Aimery Lefèvre has collaborated with conductors such as Bruno Campanella, William Christie, Gianluigi Gelmetti, Emmanuelle Haïm, Marc Minkowski, Evelino Pidò, Christophe Rousset, Kenneth Weith.

His discography includes Lully’s Atys and Rameau’s Les Indes galantes with La Simphonie du Marais, Le Grand théâtre de l'amour (Erato/Warner) with soprano Sabine Devieilhe and Les Ambassadeurs, Rameau’s Zais with Les Talens lyriques (CD released in 2015). He has taken part in several DVD productions including L’incoronazione di Poppea (Opéra de Lille), Giulio Cesareand Hippolyte et Aricie (Opéra de Paris), Hippolyte et Aricie (Festival de Glyndebourne), Les Pigeons d'argile (Théâtre du Capitole).
