The Swedish soprano Agnes Auer graduated from University College of Opera in Oslo in June, 2016. Agnes Auer's education started at Adolf Fredrik's Music School of Stockholm in 1996 and she has completed courses and classes in Finland, at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and at the previously mentioned University College of Opera in Oslo, where Agnes Auer was a scholar of Professor Svein Bjørkøy. Agnes Auer also holds a bachelor's degree in church music at Ersta Sköndal University (Stockholm). Over the years Agnes Auer has received numerous awards and scholarships from the Hugo Alfvén Society, Royal Academy of Music and from the Anders Sandrew Foundation among others. She has attended master classes with, among others, Peter Mattei, Gitta Maria Sjöberg, Olle Persson, Bo Skovhus and Wolfgang Holzmair. In 2016, Agnes Auer sung the role of Lauretta in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi and portrayed Blanche de la Force in excerpts from Poulenc's Dialogues of the Carmelites. She has also performed Pamina from The Magic Flute, Susanna from the Marriage of Figaro and Giulietta from Bellini's opera I Capuleti e i Montecchi. Agnes Auer sings performances of sacred works such as L-E Larsson's work God in disguise, W.A. Mozart's Exsultate, jubilate, Bach's Christmas Oratorio and gives recital concerts regularly.
